My first ever serious photographic adventure was to go to India with the hope to photograph the bengal tiger. I was lucky and had 22 sigthings in 10 days. Since then I have been back many times and have spent several months there working on a book project called Tiger Spirit and never again have I been so lucky as I was the first two weeks. Rules, regulations, human encroachment and a lot less tigers than before are a sad fact but the adventure still remain. India is so full of interesting wildlife that it still remains one of my top travel destinations with many stories still to be told. Tiger Spirit won the WWF Panda Book title of the year in 2011 and two articles from my work was published in BBC Wildlife as feature articles.
